What one introduction earns.

In the business's first year. Annual plans pay out sooner: a year paid up front counts as 12 months, so there's no waiting for 3 monthly payments - you're paid about 30 days after they pay.

Earn sooner with annual

When a business pays for a year up front, there's no waiting for 3 monthly payments - the referral counts straight away. After the usual 30-day check you get the bonus and your share of the whole year's payment together.

Fair and simple

Nothing is paid at sign-up - you earn once they've stayed and paid, so a business that tries UpClient and leaves doesn't count. Everything you earn, and where each referral is up to, shows on your Refer a business page.

How it works

From introduction to payout.

  1. Day 1They sign up with your link or code. They're linked to you from that moment - it never changes.
  2. Months 1 to 3They pay for Team or Business. Your share of each payment is put aside for you.
  3. After 3 paid monthsThe referral counts. 30 days later - if they're still a paying customer - you get the bonus and they get a free month.
  4. Their first yearYou earn 20% of every payment (without VAT). Each one is yours 30 days after it clears.
  5. Whenever you likeOnce you have R50 or more, ask for a payout - it's paid into your bank account within 5 working days.

What happens if...

They cancel in the first 3 months

The referral doesn't count, so nothing is earned - not the bonus, and not the shares put aside so far. That's why nothing is paid at sign-up.

They stop paying during the 30-day wait

Before anything is paid we check again that they're still a paying customer. If they've stopped, the referral is cancelled.

They leave later on

You keep everything you've already earned. Your share simply stops, because they stop paying.

A payment is refunded

Your share of that payment is cancelled. If it was already paid out to you, the amount comes off your next payout.

They pay for a year up front

A yearly payment counts as 12 months, so the referral counts straight away (after the 30-day wait) and you get your share of that payment.

What doesn't count

Your own company, people with your company's email address, and payments made with your own card. A business can only be referred once - by whoever they signed up with first.

Agencies and IT companies

If you look after businesses' IT or marketing, partner pricing is usually better for you: a discount off every client's bill for as long as they stay.
